A Malaysian man recently approached a couple of Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers in a police vehicle, but not to lodge a report on any ongoing crimes.
Instead, the man was in dire need of a phone charger and tried his luck with the police officers.

A man approached a PDRM vehicle to borrow a charger for his phone and call his girlfriend
In his viral Instagram post, the man stopped his vehicle behind a police car, and two PDRM officers were seen issuing summons to other drivers in the area. One officer then approached the man and asked him to produce his identification card (IC), and asked who he was waiting for.
The man, however, did not respond to the question and told the police officer that he had a question.
“Do you have a charger? My phone ran out of battery.”
He then told the police officer that he had driven around the area for 30 minutes just to look for someone to borrow a charger.
He explained that he wanted to fetch his girlfriend, who works at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). However, he had trouble contacting his partner as his device had run out of battery.
The police officer chuckled and agreed to lend him a charger for ten minutes.

“I was worried about my girlfriend”
In a conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, the man, CK, said that his girlfriend usually gets off work at 6 PM, and at the time of the incident, he had been wandering around the area for 30 minutes.
“I was worried about her safety and my own, too. I was trying to find a way to get my phone charged, and that was when I ran into the police officers,” CK told WORLD OF BUZZ.
CK’s video circulated on social media, with netizens jokingly remarking that CK was more terrified of his girlfriend than the police.
