Defence Minister: CMCO Announced For 9 Areas In Seremban Starting 5 November

In today’s live press conference by Defence Minister, Ismail Sabri, a Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) was announced to take effect in 9 administrative divisions (mukim) within Seremban starting Thursday (5 November) until 18 November 2020.

The collective decision was made by the government based on advice from KKM concerning the rising cases reported in Negeri Sembilan. The following administrative divisions in Seremban will be placed under the CMCO:

  • Ampangan
  • Seremban
  • Bandar Seremban
  • Labu
  • Rantau
  • Rasah
  • Setul
  • Pantai
  • Lenggeng

Ismail Sabri added that the existing CMCO regulations that apply for other states and areas will also apply for the affected areas in Seremban. Some of these regulations include the limiting of two people to a single vehicle and allowing only select members of the household to go out and purchase essential items.
