In his press conference yesterday (2 November 2020), Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said SOPs to the Conditional Movement Control Order will be presented today.

However, in his press conference today (3 November 2020), the minister said that the National Security Council (MKN) has discussed several new SOPs for areas under CMCO and the rest of the country under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO). Those suggestions have been tabled in the MKN meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

From that meeting, members of MKN have been asked to update and re-analyse the SOPs to avoid Malaysians facing any confusion. The minister added that hopefully, they will table these SOPs sometime this week.
