The 2023 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix recently took place over the weekend in, well, Singapore and is probably known for seeing the end of Red Bull Racing’s winning streak and several monitor lizards invading the race track during the practice session.
Besides that, the recent Singapore Grand Prix also continued the tradition of holding concerts, with American rapper-singer Post Malone headlining the performance.
The 28-year-old rapper took the stage on Sunday (17 September) which saw the largest concert audience in Singapore so far this year, which is quite a feat.
While Post Malone’s show is an incredible experience for all of those in attendance, it’s a particularly unforgettable one for a particular young Singaporean audience member as he got a personal hug from the international star!
Making its rounds on TikTok, a video of the interaction was posted by the boy’s brother who managed to record the whole thing.
In the video, Post Malone can be seen running down the aisle while giving ‘high fives’ to fans while being chased by his security detail.
He then approached the young boy at the end of the aisle, shook hands with one fan, before giving the child a hug.
The overlaid text on the video reads, “Ain’t no way Post Malone hugged by brother”.

In the comments, many said that the boy is very lucky to get that ‘core memory’ with the American rapper, with many envious of the child getting a hug from the superstar.
One commenter said that the interaction would end up being a core memory for that little guy, while another is awed by the cuteness of the whole thing.
Besides that, a netizen said that Post Malone’s friendly demeanour is an example of why one shouldn’t judge a person because they have tattoos.
