Wow, guys! Looks like Pos Laju will finally be going through some changes very soon!

It’s no secret that the Malaysian courier company has faced a lot of criticism over their slow service over the years, especially among social media users.

Most recently, Pos Laju came under scrutiny when a video of its staff recklessly handling packages and throwing them into a cage trolley went viral last month (May). Pos Malaysia Berhad has since issued a statement and apologised to its customers for their staff’s behaviour, and assured that this incident was an “isolated” one.

In a response to a tweet about the courier’s services, Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo mentioned that his ministry has already begun looking into improving Pos Laju’s services, and also promised to look into improving the salaries of postmen.

Apart from this, the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia has been working on a lot of big changes in our country’s services lately, including broadcasting the 2018 FIFA World Cup on TV1 and TV2, coming up with plans to double Malaysia’s internet speed and making fixed broadband prices cheaper.

On top of that, the Minister has also promised to abolish the Anti-Fake News Act that was hastily passed in parliament just one month before the 14th general elections.

Well, let’s hope that Pos Laju’s services finally improve under our new government!
