A woman in China fell to her death from the 11th floor of a hospital after dealing with unbearable and excruciating pain following a botched wisdom tooth surgery where the dentist allegedly removed the wrong tooth.
She wanted to have her wisdom tooth removed but claimed that the dentist had pulled out the wrong tooth

That was just the beginning of the pain. The dentist then allegedly forced the wrongly extracted tooth back in and tied her teeth together with metal wiring. All of this was said to be done WITHOUT giving the woman anaesthetic to relieve the pain. The incident took place on March 12 at Anqing Municipal Hospital in China’s Anhui province.
The woman, Wu, suffered not only from damaged teeth but also a swollen face and sleepless nights due to the pain. Not only that but Wu had barely eaten due to the immense pain.

Following this, she decided to visit another hospital for an X-ray and learned that anaesthetic was injected into the wisdom tooth but NOT the tooth that was wrongfully pulled out.
She recorded one last video on the hospital’s rooftop
On March 17, Wu returned to Anqing Hospital to negotiate the matter after she was asked to remove her complaints about the matter. No details about the negotiation were shared but Wu recorded one last statement on Douyin, and said the hospital will be her final resting place.
“I am 34, and you put me in this situation, who is going to save me?”
“You deceived me from the very beginning. Thanks to the harm caused by this hospital, I will die here today.”

Wu then fell from the 11th floor and the video has since been removed.
According to Sin Chew and a Chinese media outlet, Wu’s brother claimed that the doctor had altered his sister’s medical records to evade responsibilities. Following her death, the hospital offered a compensation of 100,000 yuan (approximately RM61,107), which was rejected by the family.
An insider later revealed that Ms Wu’s family and the hospital had reached a common ground through a negotiation, and the family had deleted all their statements.

Staff from the Anqing Municipal Hospital also said that the doctor involved has been suspended while investigations are ongoing.
