Actor Chadwick Boseman who was known for his iconic portrayal of Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been confirmed to have passed away on Friday (28 August 2020).
As mentioned in an Instagram post on his official account, he died in his home in Los Angeles with his loved ones by his side. Four years ago, Chadwick Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer and has been battling it as it progressed to stage four. The post mentioned,
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”
The memory of Chadwick Boseman will be always be cherished and we will be thankful to have experienced such talent. May he rest in peace now.
