It is really annoying when you finish getting your laundry done and find out that you left a tissue in your pocket and it’s now stuck everywhere. The excitement of getting fresh and clean clothes immediately turns sour upon the sight of white specks all over your favourite pants.

To make matters worse, you can’t simply wash it again as the white pulp will still be stuck after that wash. So you will have to resort to picking them out, hours upon hours until you finally give up and just buy a new pair of pants. Yes, I over-exaggerated, but you get the point.

Thankfully, a girl in Japan has shared a simple hack to deal with this problem. She tweeted, as translated by Sora News24,

If you’ve suffered the tragedy of leaving a tissue in your wash, [leave the clothes in the machine] and add only fabric softener. Run the rinse cycle once, and then the spin/dry cycle, and everything will get clean. Now that I know this, tissues are no match for me! Come on, do your worst! Thanks for giving me this crazy confidence, fabric softener. You’re my savior.”

Read the tweet here:

Yes, it is that easy. According to her, the fabric softener will coat the tissue which will separate them from the fabric. So, if you find yourself in a similar predicament, you will know what to do.
