Babies are a handful. They require so much attention and you really need to supervise every movement as you don’t know what they might do. It is even harder when they are younger and do not understand what you’re saying, especially when you’re trying to tell them why they shouldn’t do something.
In Indonesia, a video of a baby eating a cockroach has gone viral. The mother said that she was on her phone when it happened and she was too panicked and didn’t know what to do.

She could be heard arguing with her husband over the matter at the beginning of the video. In the video, it seems that the baby was playing on their own and found a cockroach. They probably felt curious and went over to smash it and put it into their mouth (as this is what babies always do).
When the baby’s mother arrived, it was a little too late as only the cockroach’s legs remained. It seems that there were still some pieces left in the baby’s mouth. Thankfully, the mother managed to fish it out. She then washed the baby’s mouth with water.
The video also showed how the baby’s hands were sticky with the cockroach’s bodily juices. We’re getting a little nauseous just thinking about it.
According to Liputan6, the mother brought the baby to see a doctor after the incident and the little one is on medication.
The mother hopes that other parents do not repeat her mistakes.
