Recently, an influencer kicked up a fuss online by claiming that students of an SJKC school were singing the national anthem, Negaraku, in Mandarin instead of Bahasa Malaysia (BM).
However, she quickly realised her mistake and took down her video after many pointed out that the students were actually singing the Perak-state anthem, Allah Lanjutkan Usia Sultan, which shares the same melody as Negaraku.
After immense backlash and accusations of inciting racial disharmony, the influencer, Ratu Naga, has since taken to her TikTok page to apologise over the incident while calling out others for spreading the video that she deleted.

She shared, “I wanted to make this video to inform everyone. I was confused as to why there were suddenly comments from people about the video that was already taken down. That video was uploaded for no more than 10 minutes. And I just found out that there are Madani cybertroopers who have downloaded the video, they managed to download it before it was taken down and had spread it to other platforms.”
“Firstly, from my side, I apologise because I did upload that video for 10 minutes. But, if I deleted it within that time frame, why are there other parties posting it online for me? What is their motive? Because within that 10 minutes, there were not a lot of people who had seen that video. But, suddenly, you guys downloaded it and uploaded it elsewhere, when it’s no longer on my platform.”
I deleted it. Why did you share it?
She went on to admit that she was at fault for wrongly hearing the lyrics that the students were singing, but pointed out that many others heard it wrongly too.

Ratu Naga ultimately believes that the blame should go to those who re-uploaded the video to other platforms.
“It’s just that, I want to ask, why did Madani supporters spread the video that I didn’t approve, the video that I had taken down? That’s when it went viral and caused speculation. It was deleted in the early stages (of publishing), within 10 minutes. I have proof as to when it was uploaded and when it was taken down; it was within 10 minutes,” she added.
