Another Covid-19 Case Reported At One Utama From OLDTOWN White Coffee Outlet

After Cluster Utama was declared as the largest contributor to Covid-19 cases in Selangor last week, another case was discovered last night (18 October) when a staff member from an OLDTOWN White Coffee Malaysia outlet tested positive for the virus.

The management of OLDTOWN White Coffee 1 Utama outlet regrets to announce that one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19 today, 18 October 2020 (Sunday). Please read the full statement below.

In a statement shared on OLDTOWN White Coffee’s Facebook, it was said that the staff had not reported to work or entered the mall since last Sunday (11 October) and is currently being treated at a government hospital. The outlet will be closed for deep cleaning and sanitisation and all of the outlet’s staff have been issued notices to stay at home to self-isolate.

Individuals who were possibly in close contact with other OLDTOWN associates have been identified and told to stay at home for 14 days following the guidelines set by MOH.

Previously, an employee from Estee Lauder in Parkson and a staff member from Mac City reported positive Covid-19 cases from the popular shopping mall in Bandar Utama.
