You can have all the money in the world and be successful but you can never defy your mum. If she says west, you can’t say east.
Aliff Syukri’s mother, Rozita Ibrahim recently expressed her anger about seeing her son’s music video for Raya because she is NOT A FAN of it. It took her only 1 short view of the video before she asked Aliff to do something, which she posted on her FB this morning (April 1).
Remove the video instantly!
“Stop insulting yourself for a piece of content. It’s the last 10 nights to Ramadhan but you use it to release your stupid video. Where is your dignity?!”
Rozita also said that she saw no other choice but to call her son out publicly as she was done feeling embarrassed from all the criticisms.
“I’m not strong enough for that anymore. People are saying I don’t teach my son well. Do you want to be someone rich but poor in spirits and sensitivity?”
Rozita added that she is merely living on borrowed time and while Aliff has always been around to entertain her, this is certainly not the way she wants things to be. She reminded Aliff not to be a Muslim who doesn’t reflect the traits of a Muslim.
“You are not a bad son, Aliff. You are good to me. But you just have to be better in religion.”
“Tens of thousands spent for the video, but for my mum…”
In a response video on his Instagram @aliffsyukriterlajaklaris, Aliff revealed that he had spent tens of thousands of ringgit to produce the video. However, without the intention to disobey his mum, Aliff decided to remove the video, as his mother’s wish.
“There are many others out there who have done the similar thing, but I always get criticised.”
Aliff also shared a screenshot video that proved he had indeed deleted the music video.
Earlier, Aliff Syukri was spotted recording the music video for his Raya song in a jacuzzi, with a few other men seen dancing around him in Baju Melayu.
His Raya song may not be happening this year but who knows something better and bigger awaits him for obeying his mother.
