His Majesty, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, is truly the man of the hour, becoming the most prominent figure providing much-needed help to folks affected by the flood.

Along with Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, both are seen rolling up their sleeves and helping where they can to help flood victims.

In a recently tweeted video, to show just how much care our beloved king has for his subjects, Sultan Abdullah was seen riding around in a nearby village visiting kids and kampung folk in Kampung Binjai, Lipis, Pahang.

In the video, the man recording it said, “It is not every day that a request to take a selfie with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is fulfilled by the man himself.”

Garnering more than 448k views, netizens were indeed in awe with the King’s humility when visiting his subjects.

“The King once went to Felda Bukit Kuantan to talk to retirees in the area. He did it discreetly without the presence of the media.”

“He offered help, and really took notes on what the people needed.”

Let’s hope that other leaders will follow suit and emulate what our beloved King and Queen are doing for the people.
