Personnel of the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia (JBPM) are, without a doubt, unsung heroes of our country.
Risking their lives daily for the safety of others, Malaysians would definitely appreciate the uniform body more if they witnessed first-hand the struggles and determination these JBPM personnel exert while on duty.
One of the best ways to see our ‘Abang Bomba’ in action is through the Bomba Channel Facebook page and 1 recent video of JBPM personnel in action has gotten the attention of Malaysians.
3 naughty cats got stuck in the internal courtyard of a high-rise apartment
In the video, 2 Abang Bomba can be seen coordinating to rescue 3 naughty cats which got stuck in an internal courtyard of a high-rise apartment building, with 1 of the cats getting stuck on the grilled coverings.
1 of the Abang Bomba strapped up in a safety harness and went to the internal courtyard via the apartment unit directly above where the cats were stuck.
The Abang Bomba then easily rescued 2 of the cats which were on the slab roof and passed them over to the other JBPM personnel.
However, rescuing the 3rd cat which was stuck on the grilled covering proved to be rather tricky, with the Abang Bomba having to lie down on the smaller slab roof and follow the instructions of the individual recording to locate the cat.
Thankfully, by the end of the video, the 3rd cat was also successfully rescued by the JBPM duo.
