His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah is famous for his humbleness and close relations with the rakyat.
This can be seen in the many interactions that the King has had with the people and His Majesty’s many speeches calling for the welfare of Malaysians to be safeguarded and prioritised.
Most recently, Istana Negara shared the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s visit to SMK Tengku Ampuan Afzan in Chenor, Pahang where His Majesty met and gave some donations to the students there.
The visit was likely impromptu as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong was on the way back from an official event in Chenor when he stopped by the school.
In a video shared by Istana Negara, besides handing out a personal donation to the students, the King can also be seen mingling and talking with the students.
Furthermore, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong even took several selfies with the students in a super cute manner!
The students were all super excited to meet with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, though some of them also looked nervous to meet with the King. Of course, who wouldn’t be in that situation, right?
At the end of the video, His Majesty gave the kids a thumbs-up before making his way.

In the video’s comments section, many Malaysians praised Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s demeanour and how close he is to his people.
One commenter likened the way the King interacted with the students to how a father would treat their children. Meanwhile, another commenter said that the interaction that the students had with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong would be something that they would cherish for the rest of their lives.
Daulat Tuanku!
