Growing up means that you will have fewer friends but you know those who matter will stay with you in the long run.

Recently, a Singaporean channel, Who Who Call, interviewed a group of uncles who meet up weekly just to play basketball together.

These uncles are of the same age (ranging from 50-80+) and they have all known each other for about 30-40 years!

“We’ve known each other ever since we played basketball together as kids. All 20 of us love the sport so up till, we’re still playing basketball together.”

Through their stories, it all started when one of them, Teck Ann complained that there was no one to play basketball with him so he recruited his friends to play.

“So we skipped class and went to play basketball with him.”

The others also said that they would know if anyone didn’t come to the weekly basketball matches and made several good-natured jabs at each other while showcasing their close relationship.

“We are definitely closer than brothers. Having this lifestyle every week: playing basketball and having fun with each other, it’s a really good life.”

“This is definitely a lifelong friendship,'” said one of them before the video ended.

How wholesome is this! Friendship this strong is certainly hard to find and create, we hope that these uncles will continue as they have before.
