1. Wanting to eat it every day but you can’t

Well, not unless you want to gain weight like crazy and be extremely unhealthy that is! It is important to consume a balanced diet even if your deepest desire is to just gobble up those yummy chicken all day every day. I know that feel, bruh!

2. Feeling betrayed by a piece of chicken that’s too hot

You know that satisfying feeling when you see a plate of fried chicken fresh off the fryer but when you want to bite into that awesome crispy skin, it burns your tongue? How come something I love so much betrayed me?

3. Being impatient while waiting for the chicken to cool down 

So you give it another chance and wait for it to cool down before attempting another bite but in the meantime, you’re just drooling while smelling that distinctive fried chicken aroma. Eh, faster leh!

4. When fried chicken is getting so mahal that you can’t always afford them

With the rising cost of living, prices for everything are increasing too, so indulging in some heavenly fried chicken can only be a treat every now and then. Oh well, at least we can be healthier! Or pretend to be.

5. When the fried chicken skin isn’t crispy

You thought that it would taste divinely crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside but all your hopes and dreams are crushed when you realise that the skin is soggy instead. Oh, the horror!

6. Too many choices, too little time (or just afraid of getting too fat!)

Nowadays, we are simply spoilt for choice when it comes to different kinds of fried chicken options available out there. From Korean and rempah to Japanese and Taiwanese flavours, we just can’t decide which one to try first!

7. When the fried chicken you ordered is a complete disappointment

It smells and looks amazing so you can’t wait to sink your teeth into it but after taking that first bite, it tastes nothing like it looks so you are sadly let down by it. Why you liddis, fried chicken? Why?!
