A 77-year-old man from Bentong, Pahang had no idea that he would turn into a millionaire after hitting the jackpot. The man secured a whopping RM23.3 million in prize!

In a Facebook post by Sports Toto Malaysia,  it is revealed that the man hit the 1st prize for Toto 4D Jackpot on July 24 after betting on his wife’s car number plate and a set of random 4D numbers. The man bet on the numbers “9938 & 8388”, and his reason is simple.

“They sound the same, and sound lucky! When these numbers look and sound auspicious, they actually bring you good luck!””

Well, the numbers did, in fact, bring him good fortune!

The senior citizen told Sports Toto that he played the Sports Toto 4D Jackpot game using the System 7 method and bet on his wife’s car license plate number, with a set of randomly selected numbers.

The RM23 million goes to…

With that amount of money, the man has already decided where it’s going to go – to his children! However, he has only 1 hope after the money is passed down to the family members.

“I am old now and don’t need so much money, so I will give this bonus to my children. I hope they can use it wisely to expand their business and live a comfortable life.”

Apart from the Jackpot prize worth RM23,348,049.75, he also won other prizes worth a total of RM1,680.

“The thrill of betting was more enjoyable than winning, which was a surprise to me,” the man said.

Another lucky winner from Sarawak struck the same jackpot by playing the i-System and took away the remaining prize of RM406,052.95, as shown on Sports Toto’s official website.

What would you do with THAT amount of money? Retire immediately, or invest in something?
