Back then, we got ourselves a KFC or Mekdi treat from our parents when we got good results in exams. Some of us even got a fancy pencil case as a reward. Those with bigger budgets got to go for a vacation with their families.

A Malaysian businesswoman, who’s well known as Kak KM recently gave her son a couple of gifts for scoring good results in his SPM. Kak KM gave her son a brand-new Mercedes and a cheque worth RM10,000 for his achievement.

Her son, Faris scored 6 As for his SPM and despite not getting straight As, the result is more than good enough for Kak KM.

In her series of IG stories @lianarosliofficial, Kak KM shared the moments of her accompanying her son, Faris to his school to get his SPM result. It feels different to have your loved ones with you during 1 of the biggest highlights of your life.

Faris was shocked when he was handed the RM10,000 cheque, which his mum said, “It’s okay. Just take it.”

The pair then shared a passionate hug and Faris kissed his mother on the cheek.

Kak KM also revealed that Faris had been burning the midnight oil and studied as much as he could to prep for the exam.

“Faris is my only son and I have high hopes for him. I think that was what pressured him.”

In another IG post by Faris himself who won 2 “jackpots” (Good results and rewards), Faris dedicated a post to his mother and thanked her for always being there, for her prayers, and for her support.

“Thank you for always being here whenever I feel empty and whenever I needed support. I can only make you smile and give you happiness. Your love is irreplaceable. Thank you, mother,” Faris expressed in his post.

Well, Faris’ hard work was paid off. Congratulations Faris, and to others who achieved good results in SPM. Take a short break before you embark on an even tougher journey that will make you successful in the future!
