In today’s world, who wouldn’t like to buy goods on online shopping platforms, right? It’s so easy! You just do all the transactions on your mobile phone or pc, then wait for your item to be delivered to your door. You don’t even have to leave the house. We are in some form of a movement restriction close to two years now, so online shopping has become a norm for everyone.

Online shopping is not just about the enticing promotions available. You also have the power to rate the sellers to ensure they will get more customers in the future. For those who do not know, sellers may be penalized if they do not meet the sales standards set by each online shopping platform. So, the review given by the buyer is very important because from there we can also see how the response was given by the seller.

Sadly, there are reviews given that are weird and simply inconsiderate. One example of the review is shared by @pelabur_bijak on Twitter when a seller was rated three stars even though he managed to ship the item fast and secure. The reason? Well, according to the buyer, he was not environmentally friendly. The customer wrote,

“Fast shipping but I have to give three stars because seller used too much plastic wrap. We need to care for the environment.”

From this, we can see that as a seller, it is really difficult to meet the expectations of customers. Even if the item that they buy reaches them fast and safely, there are things that can be seen as wrong and can affect the sellers rating. Although we do agree in regards to caring for the environment, we do think that it is better to applaud the seller for his service and share your opinion about saving the environment to raise the seller’s awareness instead of penalising him for trying to serve you the best he can.
