Recently a tweet went viral when a girl posted a photo of herself handling a burger stall that her late father left. And if that wasn’t poignant enough, wait till you hear her story.
Nurul A’in Azman, 24, posted along with the photo that she had graduated with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Port Dickson Polytechnic.
She shared her story with MStar, recounting that her father fell sick when she had finished studying, so she would often help operate the burger stall. Now that her father has passed away, she has taken over the stall.
A’in added her other siblings have their own jobs but she has a sister with autism, while her mum isn’t well, therefore she decided to take over the burger stall rather than working in the engineering field.
The burger stall is said to be operated in front of a 7 Eleven in Bukit Antarabangsa and it offers around 15 different types of burgers including lamb, camel, beef, roti john and oblong. The stall operates from 5.30 PM to 12.30 AM.
A’in claimed that it was hard for her to go out and see her friends as she would have to close the stall for the night. A’in added that she is grateful to the netizens who showed her plenty of support, as this work means a lot to her even if she can’t work in the engineering field.
A’in posting has reached 4.9k retweets and 2k likes, inspiring other youngsters to respect and love their parents and families no matter what.
