A female pharmacy worker was forced to endure a terrifying incident as her leg was bitten by a 2-metre-long python in the washroom of the pharmacy where she worked in Setia Alam, Selangor, on Sunday (23 November).
According to a report by Kosmo!, the incident that befell the 23-year-old victim was discovered at about 3:46 PM, leading the Malaysia Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) to receive an emergency call for help.

The Selangor Fire Department Assistant Director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, shared that 6 firefighters, including officers from the Bukit Jelutong Fire and Rescue Station, rushed to the scene and arrived at 4:04 PM.
Based on initial information, the victim was bitten by the python while using the washroom at the pharmacy where she works.

“The personnel on duty managed to free the victim from the snake’s bite and then handed her over to health workers for further treatment,” he said.
The 2-metre-long python was then released in a safe location.
