A 20-year-old university student was summoned for careless driving after he crashed a luxury Ferrari vehicle at Kilometre 1.3 of the Kajang Traffic Dispersal Ring Highway (SILK) yesterday (4 February). Thankfully, the student was not injured in the incident.
According to a statement by the Kajang District Police, Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof shared that his department received information about the crash at about 6am.

Initial investigations found that the accident occurred when the car driven by the student was believed to have lost control before hitting a road divider and skidding to the left side of the road.
The car didn’t belong to the student
It was later discovered that the vehicle belonged to the student’s father.

“As a result of the accident, the car belonging to the driver’s father was damaged at the front and rear (of the vehicle),” Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof explained.
The student was issued a summons under Rule 10, LN 166/59 for careless driving and failing to control the vehicle properly, which led to an accident.
The Kajang District Police have since advised all road users to always obey traffic rules, practice safe driving and always be careful to avoid unwanted incidents.
