Applications like Coffee Meets Bagel, Tinder, and Facebook Dating have been the platform for some people to look for a partner in their lives. Regardless, a Facebook post featuring 2 women looking for a partner has recently gone viral.
Facebook page Viral Sensasi Malaysia has shared the story of 2 women who are apparently looking for a man who can marry them both!
“We’re best friends and we don’t mind,” they said.
According to the post, both of them are 31 and 27-years-old. The 31-year-old woman is a single mother from Terengganu and working for herself, while the 27-year-old woman from Kelantan runs her own laundry shop.
The women said that they are looking for a man who can accept them for who they are.
‘If you can’t accept 2 wives at once, then it’s fine. We’re just trying our luck here,” they said.
There are better ways to do so
At the time of writing, the post has garnered more than 3,000 likes & more than 1,400 shares. However, the post was met with more criticisms than eligible bachelors who expressed interest.
“You’re both beautiful but have no dignity. I hope you both meet a good man who can guide you.”
“You both are destroying the image of fellow Muslim women! Might as well share the size of your waist, your hips, and the condition of your reproductive organ.”
“Is this content necessary for women to look for partners? I think there are better ways to do so. This looks like Malay women are outdated. Dear Malay women, please mind your manners.”
“Think of your parents before doing something. Pity them when they have to accept society’s criticism for what their children have done. It’s not wrong to look for a partner but there are better ways where people will not criticise.”
It is definitely not a problem to look for a life partner. After all, that’s one of the things that people are looking for in their life. Do you think the 2 women could’ve resorted to another method in looking for what they want?
