Open burning of waste or garbage is a common sight in Malaysia, but this incident highlights just how dangerous it can be, not only for the environment but also for the people.
In a recent video shared by @update11111, CCTV footage captures an open burning taking place alongside the roads of Kota Bharu on September 1st.
The dense smoke made it difficult to see the road ahead
The footage captures locals continuing to use the road, even though the thick smoke from the open burning was practically covering the entire view, making it difficult to see anything ahead.
Despite the hazardous conditions, people kept navigating the road, and tragically, 2 motorcyclists ended up colliding head-on. Both riders were coming from opposite directions, leading to the unfortunate accident.
