A 15-year-old student from Perak has lodged a police report after claiming she was deceived into sending nude photos to a man posing as a doctor.
According to Manjung District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Hasbullah Abd Rahman, the schoolgirl alleged she had sent several photos via the Telegram application.

Suspect claimed the photos were needed for medical screening
In a statement, police said the suspect asked the girl to share personal and family details and to send several nude photos, claiming they were needed for a “remote” cervical and breastâcancer screening that didn’t require a physical exam.
He added that the victim, upon realising she had been scammed, lodged a police report, fearing that the photos would be leaked.
“The victim was asked to provide her details and send several nude photos under the pretext of medical screening,” he explained.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward
Hasbullah said the case is being investigated under Section 15(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
“Parents and schools are urged to stay vigilant about issues involving child sexual offences and avoid carelessly sharing personal information with strangers. We also encourage the public to enable two-step verification on Telegram and other platforms to better safeguard their accounts,” he added.
