This might be a nightmare fuel to many of you and you might feel the pain even by just reading it.

Yesterday (June 5), a 12-year-old kid in Sabak Bernam, Selangor had to endure the most painful experience in his life when his back was pierced by a 15-centimeter (cm) long iron fence at a house in Taman Seri, Sungai Besar.

After receiving an emergency call at 6:25 pm, officers from Sungai Besar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene and when they reached, the child was still “waiting” on the fence. The rescue team immediately used the proper tool to cut the gate and the boy was rushed to the hospital with the gate (and iron metal) still attached to his buttocks.

According to a report by China Press, the thorn was only millimeters away from the boy’s anus, and he did not dare to move an inch while waiting for the rescue team because he feared it might hurt other parts of his body. Surgery had been done to remove the iron metal from his buttock and the boy’s life is not in danger.

It was also revealed that the kid tried to sneak out of the house when his mother was not home but he slipped in the process, and his attempt turned out to be a painful lesson to learn. Ouch!

Accidents happen when we least expect it, and to all the kids out there, never ever attempt to do something that is beyond your means. It will not only endanger your life but also cause a lifetime trauma. Regardless, we hope the kid will recover soon from the excruciating pain.
