In 2016, we’ve seen some pretty cool hairstyles catching on. Is your friend’s or your hairstyle listed in this list? And maybe after going through this list, you may want to try something different, because why not?!
1. Side Parting
This undercut requires a very short back and sides with long bangs. Make sure to leave a plentiful of hair for a thicker volume on the top. The look can be achieved using pomade, or gel if you want to go for a wetter look.
2. Slicked Back Undercut
This variation of the undercut requires both very short back and sides. However, leave your fringe and top long to enable you to slick back your hair.
3. Short and Tight
This style is for those who want to go for a fresher look with minimal maintenance. Hair is kept short all over with a bit of thickness at the top. Then use a little bit of wax to achieve a texturized look.
4. Brushed Up
The hair on the sides and back are slightly shorter while the top is spiked upwards with some wax and a brush (or your hand). This will give it a full layered effect.
5. Short Back and Sides
This style suits any face shape and is perfect for someone who wants little to no maintenance. For a more dramatic look, you can have your sides shorter, while still leaving your top long and spiky or slicked back.
6. Slicked Back
This is a really easy look to achieve if you’re willing to keep the hair on top a bit longer. Use a bit of wax to sweep the top of your hair to the back, and then slick back the sides in the same way.
7. Angular Fringe
This hairstyle is probably the best summer hair. It is achieved by keeping the front of the hair longer and then have it brushed asymmetrically to the side.
8. Spiky
No men’s hairstyle list could be complete without the classic spike. Leave the top longer and ask for a graduated cut to the shorter sides. Use wax and slick your hair forward using your hands.
9. Long Hair Don’t Care
The simple and classic cut is achieved by simple not cutting your hair. Duh. The front is kept slightly trimmed and neatened frequently so your hair is maintained to look flawless. Unless you’re going to the messy look of course! This hair is perfect for that man bun that will send any girl swooning.
10. Modern Pompadour
Like many 50’s trends, the pompadour is making a roaring comeback, but with a modern twist. Keep your fringe much longer than the rest of your hair and style it with a ton of volume at the front.
