Just in case you’re still out of the loop, we finally have our very first LUSH Cosmetics store right here in Pavilion KL as it just debuted on 1st October. The wait is finally over!
Now, you don’t have to ask your friends to help you get some whenever they travel overseas because you can pop by the mall and get it yourself! If you’re new to LUSH and have no clue what to get for yourself (or your loved ones for Christmas maybe?), fret not, because we’ve got the low-down on a few fan favourites that have earned a cult following in the beauty biz. Here’s what you should add to cart!
1. Bath bombs

These sweet-smelling spherical soaps are synonymous with LUSH. If you’re overwhelmed by the massive array of variants they have, we suggest getting the Sex Bomb (RM38), which is one of the most popular and perhaps best-selling bath bombs on the shelves. Drop it in a warm bath and (all) your senses will thank you for a soothing jasmine and ylang-ylang treat, topped with a colourful, sparkly aesthetic you’d want to Insta-story!

2. Face masks

Nothing beats a good old face mask when your skin sends out an SOS for some TLC. Thankfully, we now have access to LUSH’s luxurious face masks! Looking to fight breakouts and minimise oily skin? Mask of Magnaminty (RM80 for 125g; RM150 for 315g) will do the trick with kaolin clay and honey to purify your skin. Need something for dull skin? Don’t Look at Me (RM75) will make you want to flaunt your fresh and bright complexion in no time. Oily skin bothering you? Cupcake will mattify that shiny face with a yummy cocoa and spearmint concoction. There’s one for every skin type, so have fun browsing!

3. Body sprays

Their body sprays are also one of the best-selling products and fan favourite, Twilight (RM160) will help those who have trouble sleeping with its calming blend of lavender, tonka and ylang-ylang oil that’ll put you in deep sleep. Another popular option is Plum Rain boasting a delicate fruity scent that’ll help you relax and recharge overnight. I guess getting your beauty sleep won’t be a problem once you get your hands on these!
4. Body lotion

When your skin is thirsty, reach out for some of these body lotions to hydrate it back to health: LUSH’s cream of the crop, Dream Cream (RM135) to nourish dry, sensitive skin and make it baby-soft again; Sleepy for insomniacs who could use a luxurious treat before they hit the sack for dreamy skin the morning after; and Charity Pot (RM85) if you’re looking to do both your skin good as well as give back to the community as 100% proceeds go to charity. A good night’s sleep, guaranteed!

5. Conditioner

Love having soft, shiny and tangle-free hair? LUSH fans swear by American Cream, which has a delicious strawberry-vanilla scent that’ll make anyone become addicted to sniffing your locks at first whiff. Another popular choice is Retread, which is suitable for those with dry, lacklustre strands as it’ll deliver intense moisture so your hair can look shiny and bouncy again!
6. Face and body scrubs

Kill two birds with one stone with a two-in-one face and body scrub such as Herbalism (RM85 for 100g; RM190 for 250g), which is a natural exfoliating cleanser that helps combat oily skin with the power of herbs. Add this to your skincare/bathtime routine once a week! For solo scrubs, opt for Angels on Bare Skin for face and Ocean Salt (RM90 for 100g; RM170 for 250g) for body – the former is a gentle cleansing scrub that’s great for all skin types while the latter contains sea salt and avocado butter that’ll leave your skin smooth and hydrated for longer.
7. Lip scrub

Kiss dry lips goodbye with their wide array of lip scrubs that any sweet tooth will enjoy (psst, minus the calories!). For candy-like sweetness, opt for Bubblegum (RM60) that’s made of fine castor sugar to exfoliate chapped lips while jojoba oil will moisturise your puckers, making it soft and supple. Bonus: It makes a great base for your lippie too!
8. FUN products

The Fun range includes seven different colours of multipurpose bars with their distinct scents. Their new product, Rainbow (RM75), includes all seven bars combined together to create the ultimate fun bar! Why choose one when you can have all seven instead, right? Surprisingly, the numerous scents complement each other to create a product that smells sweet, fruity and creamy with a hint of vanilla all at once. The fun part is that you can shape it into anything you like before using it as a soap, shampoo or you can even use it when you fancy a bubble bath.

9. The 2018 Halloween range

The Halloween collection has the cutest limited edition products to get you in the mood as the spooky season approaches. Bewitched is a gift set that comes with both a Bewitched cat and Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bars, a Ghost in The Dark soap, a Lord of Misrule bath bomb and a Bewitched knot wrap. Meanwhile, the Two Headed Monster contains a Monster’s ball bath bomb, an Ectoplasm jelly bomb and a Two Headed Monster knot wrap.
10. Christmas collection

How is it already October and just two more months to Christmas?! Better be quick and grab these limited edition Christmas products if you love playing santa. The bubble bars come in two shapes, which are the magical pink Magic Wand and jasmine-scented Naughty Elf. You may also transform your bath with the Snowman Bomb that gives your bath a special winter scene while the Santa Bomb gives you a very merry strawberry and cream fragrance that’ll give you a jolly good bath time.
