According to The Star, the Rukun Tetangga staff raided the house after they noticed something fishy was going on in the house. During the raid, the woman was in a room with a Bangladeshi guy at approximately 9.30 pm. However, the Bangladeshi guy managed to escape from the raiding party.

Outside the house, the 34-year-old husband was waiting inside the car with their 7-month-old baby while his wife was ‘working’.

According to the woman, this activity has been going on since December when her husband became jobless.

She also told the raiding team that the husband drove her to the house and forced her to have sex with the Bangladeshi guy after collecting RM50 from him. To think, her dignity is only valued at RM50 by the husband!

The couple stayed at Paya Nahu flat in Sungai Petani and has a 3-year-old daughter who’s being taken care by the woman’s mother.

The case is being investigated for exploiting a person for the purpose of prostitution. The husband has been remanded for four days to assist in investigation.
