29-year-old Malaysian actress, Saidah Kamarudin, recently revealed that she called off her engagement with 22-year-old actor, Muntazar Ghufran, after finding out he only had RM500 in his bank account.
Muntazar had broken the silence and said that he had investments in gold and ASB Financing, and claimed that Saidah used to slap and harm him during the relationship. Recently, Malaysian businesswoman, known as Kak KM, also shared her take on the cancelled wedding.
In a live TikTok video with her daughter, Kak KM was blunt about what she thought.

“If you cancelled the wedding just because he only had RM500 in his bank account, then you’re even worse than a gold digger.”
“You just want him for material possessions.”
Kak KM also pointed out that as long as they were not married, the man’s money belonged to no one but himself.
“Even if he had RM500 million in his bank account, if it’s not meant for you, then it’s not for you.”
Kak KM, whose real name is Liana Rosli, also said that she thought the wedding should’ve been cancelled as she believed Saidah was lowering a man’s dignity with her statement. She also shared her take on what it truly means to be married together.

“When I just got married to my husband, we both didn’t have much. But that’s the point of a marriage. We go through thick and thin together, and that’s how we stay.”
“If you’re already insulting him before tying the knot, then the relationship should end.”
