The multiplayer online battle arena game known as “王者荣耀” or ‘King of Glory’ has been gaining popularity all over the world with over 80 million daily active players, making it one of the world’s most profitable games.
It’s apparently so addictive that many players get obsessed with it very easily.

Popular players who live-stream themselves playing the game have thousands of fans and one of them, known as ‘Lonely King’ by his fans tragically passed away during one of his gaming sessions.
According to Sohu, the 20-year-old player from China had already garnered over 170,000 fans on his platform when he met his untimely death. RIP.

Currently, the cause of his death is unknown but they suspect that it is due to overexertion as his sleeping times were rather abnormal, due to his live-streaming activities. Apparently, he had changed his schedule to start playing from 12am until 9am the next morning every day since July. His timing all ‘terbalik’, leh!
On November 2, he streamed his gameplay as usual but it looked like that was his last video because after that, his fans realised something was amiss when ‘Lonely King’ disappeared for several days. That was when they found out that their idol suddenly died while playing.

His fans were deeply saddened by the news and left their condolences on his social media. However, some of them said, “It’s okay. He has just fallen asleep, let him sleep and let’s not wake him.” 🙁
