President Trump, if you’re listening, the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) has a message for you.

Member of Parliament (MP) for Kapar, Dr Halimah Ali from PAS and Perikatan Nasional (PN), in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday (22 October), shared a message to Donald Trump in conjunction with the United States (US) President’s upcoming visit to Kuala Lumpur this weekend.

Dr Halimah, in her speech, urged Trump to use his power and influence to stop the ongoing genocide in Palestine.

“You’ll be a hero, and make America Great again.”

In Parliament, Dr Halimah, who hoped that her message would reach the knowledge of Trump, urged the President to do whatever it takes and he could to stop the inhumanity and aggression that is robbing the lives of the Palestinians.

“You’ll be a real hero in history, if you’re successful in stopping the genocide. I believe you can make America great again, if you refuse to become an ally to international criminal, like (Israeli) Prime Minister Netanyahu.”

“You can’t make America great if you can’t win the hearts and minds of the world, including your own people.”

“May God guide Trump to the right path”

The Kapar MP also reminded the US President to do the right thing by not selling weapons for money, by not perpetrating war to boost the US economy, and urged him to do the right thing in the right way at the right time.

“Don’t kill because you want to live in luxury. May God guide you to the right path. Amin.”

Dr Halimah ended her speech by chanting “Mr Trump, don’t kill” three times.

At the White House press conference on 29 September, Donald Trump stated that the United States would play an active role in ensuring Israel’s security following a new ceasefire agreement.

He emphasised that if Hamas accepted the deal, all hostages, both living and deceased, would be released almost immediately.

What do you think of Dr Halimah’s speech?
