Come this December, Sunway Malls is bringing in Christmas joy with their assortment of stunning Christmas décor, interactive installations and engaging activities! Wanna know more about this awesome Christmas event? Then here’s what Sunway Malls has in store for you with their My Christmas Story campaign!:
1. Mingle among storybook decor and experiential hidden rooms
For Christmas this year, each Sunway Mall has its own unique giant book displays and installations that tell a different story! And these displays aren’t just there to look pretty; you can even “walk” into these installations, making for an immersive experience where you’ll feel like a real-life storybook character!
Among these accessible large storybooks, you can uncover little secrets including experiential hidden rooms which tell their own special stories and whimsical Christmas characters peeping out from these displays.
Combined with other must-have Christmas displays including pine trees, furniture and snowmen all made of recycled waste materials, you’ll konfem feel like a character in your own Christmas story! And speaking of your own Christmas story…
2. Tell or listen to others’ holiday stories at the installations
To get with the theme this year, Sunway Malls wants their shoppers to tell their own stories to dive into the holiday spirit. If you’re looking to share your special story, you can do so via each Sunway Mall’s unique Christmas Story mechanic. For instance, after taking pics in Sunway Pyramid’s Snowy’s Winter Wonderland, shoppers will be provided with a card sleeve designed like a book to decorate and craft their own Christmas tale at their specialised booth!
Alternatively, if you’d like to listen to stories or read them to your little ones, Sunway Putra Mall has its very own reading corner at level 4 that shoppers of all ages can use. There will be a little bit of everything for everyone plus, this reading corner will be a permanent fixture at Sunway Putra Mall!
3. Check out Sunway Malls’ workshops, competitions and more
Why not add some fun holiday activities to your Christmas story this year? ‘Tis the season to be jolly with a variety of activities that the whole fam can enjoy! Get creative with Sunway Malls’ assortment of Christmas workshops or take part in competitions where you stand a chance to win outstanding prizes.

- Playground enhancement: Help them improve the playground at Salvation Army’s KL Kindergarten in Taman OUG which provides early years’ education. You can donate cash at the Concierge Counter or via Sunway Pay.
- Book Donation Drive: From now to 18 February 2024, shoppers can donate their books at the Books Donation Bin. Proceeds will be channelled to Salvation Army’s local projects all across Malaysia.
- Christmas Kettle and Carolling: Catch The Salvation Army’s Caroling performances from 3pm – 6pm from 25 November to 23 December 2023 and give to a good cause.
