Just 3 days ago, a multi-vehicle accident on the northbound lane of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) tragically claimed 7 lives caused by a trailer truck’s tyre coming off.

While the police are still looking into that incident, another terrible crash happened late last night at 12:11 a.m. on Jalan Pontian, Johor, involving a heavy vehicle.

Berita Harian reported that 2 men were killed, and 1 survived a crash involving a car and a lorry near the Taman Desa Skudai roundabout.

Skudai Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Operations Commander Suraini Adnan said that after receiving the report about the incident, personnel and fire engines were sent to the scene.

“In response, we sent 7 personnel and 2 fire engines. When we arrived, we found that the crash involved a sedan and a 10-tonne lorry,” he explained.
