Penang has no shortage of attractions to keep tourists and locals entertained but this time, they have come up with a really cool activity! Warning: Not for the faint of heart though!
The new attraction is known as The Gravityz and it is actually a rope course challenge. What makes it different from other similar challenges is that this is located 239 metres high, which actually makes it the world’s highest rope course challenge!
Located on the 65th floor of the The Top, Menara Komtar at Georgetown, they are set to be opened to the public before the Lunar New Year.
So, what exactly is in store for you if you are brave enough to take up the challenge?
Well, there are a total of six obstacles which will definitely give you an adrenaline rush and push you to exceed your limits. Are you brave enough to take the challenge? The extreme high altitude sports platform is meant to encourage you to take a leap out of your comfort zone to experience one of the most awesome thrills you can find here.
You can enjoy a bird’s eye view as you attempt to go through all six obstacles which takes place on the side of the building:
- Confidence Path
- High Bench
- A Great Bridge
- X-Point
- Z-wire
- G-Rocky
You need to cross bridges high up in the open air, strap yourself to a flying fox, even balance yourself on the side of the building while leaning sideways and many more. Scary but exciting!
From beginning to end, the whole experience is expected to last about 60 minutes per session and don’t worry, there will be two crew members there who will be helping you. Rest assured that the rope course challenge has safety equipment to make sure nothing happens to you!
All their safety equipment is Swiss and Italian made, with certification from the European Union and TUV. Phew! Tentatively, their pricing is expected to start from RM90 but this may change based on demand and category.
