Maggi instant noodles are a comfort food for many people across the world. Throughout the years, we have seen some pretty questionable combinations done with Maggi such as adding Milo to it.
However, we recently stumbled across one that we needed to get your opinion on.
A video shared by The Great Indian Foodie on both Instagram and Facebook featured a woman selling food by the roadside in Mumbai, India.
However, the food that she cooked left us with mixed feelings as the Maggi was cooked in mango juice and later topped off with fresh mango.
In the video, we can see that she starts cooking by using some type of oil and later on, adding masala seasoning in. After that, she added water and dried noodles and when the noodles got soft, she added a lot of mango juice into it.
She then separated the portion and served it on a plate before cutting up a mango to put on top.
Netizens were disgusted
After seeing the whole video, we’re really unsure what to feel and the same goes for the netizens. A user called it a total wastage of food whilst another asked for the location of the stall so that “someone can reach over and offer counselling.”
It appears that due to the bombardment of negative comments towards the video, the page has issued a warning against netizens who spread hatred towards the page.
In the caption, the page wrote,”Any act that promotes hatred towards @thegreatindianfoodie shall be a punishable offence under the IPC Section 499. Accordingly legal actions shall be taken.”
