Woman Driving S’pore-Registered Luxury Car Causes 4-Vehicle Collision in Johor, Flees the Scene

A luxury car accident on February 25 in Johor Bahru led to a chain collision involving 4 other vehicles on Jalan Serigala.

According to a statement on Facebook shared by Johor Bahru District Police, the driver of the luxury car first crashed into a sedan before hitting more vehicles.

The driver hit 3 more vehicles

Johor Bahru South Police Chief, Raub Selamat, said the accident happened around 7:15 PM, but thankfully, no casualties were reported.

“Preliminary investigations found that the luxury car, coming from Jalan Dato Sulaiman, collided with the sedan from the direction of Jalan Harimau,” he said.

Raub added that after the crash, the luxury car driver was believed to have lost control and ended up hitting 3 other vehicles parked by the roadside.

The driver fled the scene

However, Raub added that police are still tracking down the driver of the luxury car, who was nowhere to be found at the scene and has yet to come forward.

Authorities are now urging all drivers involved to report to the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department at the Johor Bahru South District Police Headquarters for further investigation.

The case is being investigated under Method 10 LN 166/59 for failing to maintain control of a vehicle.
