Admit it. We’ve all been ghosted before, or maybe even ghosted a person or 2 when we just didn’t feel the vibe anymore.
In this digital era of online dating, there is a lot of social applications out there that enables us to meet “potential” people around us to see if things can progress further. Sadly, it has also become a norm to simply disappear and not reply anymore when people cannot foresee the relationship blooming. No goodbyes, no last words, simply go like the wind.
Most of the time, we move on. But this woman from Nashville, Tennessee has something in mind just before she moves on from being ghosted every time, and she shared it on her TikTok account.
To understand what actually went wrong during the dates, Shanna decided to create an online exit interview every time people disappeared on her. Who says exit interviews are only applicable when you resign from your job?
There are only 6 questions that Shanna expects the people who went MIA to answer, and here’s what the questions look like:
- State the reason you ghost Shanna
- Rate Shanna’s personality, on a scale of 1 to 4 (best to worst)
- What could Shanna do to stop being ghosted?
- How hot is Shanna? (multiple choice)
- What would you tell Shanna before she forgets you?
- Rate her jokes, on a scale of 1 to 4 (amazing to boring)
Shanna stated in her video that she is tired of getting ghosted and she wants to understand further to avoid the same history from repeating itself. You can watch the full video below:

It’s not you, Shanna
At the time of writing, the video has gained more than 4 million views and more than 227,000 likes. Netizens in the comment sections have mixed reactions towards her exit interview, where some think it has nothing to do with her.
Some think that it’s a major sign of low self-esteem.
One netizen even suggested a couple more questions be asked in the exit interview.
While getting ghosted can sometimes be emotionally wrecking, do you think you will have the courage to “conduct” an exit interview to understand things further? Or do you simply not care as it reflects more on the person who ghosts you?
