Perhaps it’s true what they say, “What’s meant to be will always find its way”. This is about a beautiful true love story that happened between a couple in Canada.
A Facebook user known as Laura Hart Faganello shared her incredible story through a post on Facebook. She shared in the post that she got engaged again to her husband, Brayden Faganello, two years after losing her memory due to a injury she sustained to the brain. The beautiful yet heartbreaking love story has garnered about 18k likes and 15k shares so far.
Before her accident, their relationship progressed through handwritten letters and they were writing to each other for about eight months, wrote The Star. The couple only met face-to-face in Victoria, Canada and they originally got married in 2016.

A tragedy struck the couple nine months after their wedding. A huge pole dropped on Laura’s head when she was preparing for an event.
“My next clear memory is of waking up thinking I was 17 years old, and not knowing who Brayden was. My memory of meeting, falling in love with, and marrying Brayden was gone,” Laura wrote in her post.
She also shared that after the accident, she had to learn how to read, write and talk intelligibly again. Laura had to come to terms with her memory loss and the fact that she was married to a person she didn’t know.
“I desperately hoped my memory would come back, that some day I would look at Brayden and remember everything. Unfortunately that has yet to happen,” she said.
Laura decided that she and Brayden should start getting to know each other again. She decided to give it a go because she saw how understanding and patient he was.
After starting from the beginning with Brayden, she fell in love with him all over again.

“Brayden became my best friend, and then my crush, and then my love. I haven’t miraculously gotten my memory and all my old feelings for him back, but I have new feelings and new memories,” Laura wrote in her post. So, when he proposed to her earlier this week, she immediately said “yes!’.

Laura added that she’s grateful for their fresh start and for the amazing future they have ahead of them.
