The Kelantan Police Chief was recently threatened through red paint markings found on the fence wall of the Kelantan PDRM Contingent Shooting Range in Gunong, Bachok.

Viral images circulating on social media show the fence wall painted red with the words, “Jangan Lari, Dato’ Kopi.” The matter was confirmed by Kelantan Police Chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat, who hinted that he has an idea of the culprit behind the threats.

He did not rule out the possibility that the act was carried out by a syndicate affected by his firm stance in curbing crime in the state.

However,  he made it clear that the threat has not frightened him in the slightest

According to him, judging by the writing on the wall and the phrasing used, he believes it could be part of a planned movement. The red paint on the wall was first discovered on 22 December last year, and Datuk Mohd Yusoff said further investigations are being conducted under Sections 427 and 506 of the Penal Code.

PDRM is currently working to identify the mastermind behind the threat and the individual who painted the wall.

“We’re fighting a jihad, so why should we be afraid? I’m not afraid,” he said when contacted by Utusan.

The public with relevant information is urged to come forward to assist with the investigation. Stay tuned to WORLD OF BUZZ for updates.
