Regardless of one’s race, gender, age or appearance, everyone deserves a future they can SMILE about. To further amplify this message, Colgate has produced a short film in collaboration with singer-songwriter and rapper, Airliftz, to tell his uplifting story!

This short film aims to inspire Malaysians everywhere to champion optimism & positivity and to Smile Strong when faced with adversities because, at the end of the day, We Are Stronger When We Smile.

But wait, how did #SmileStrong start?

It is completely normal to feel unhappy and demotivated when we go through hardships. While those emotions are completely valid, it’s important to be reminded that there is still much to be thankful for every day. This is why Colgate’s collaboration with Airliftz aims to inspire everyone to #SmileStrong. In doing so, Colgate hopes to be able to champion optimism and spread positivity even during such uncertain times.

Through this heartwarming collab, Colgate wishes to show fellow Malaysians that there is always a reason to smile no matter the situation. As the old adage goes, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.

So let this be a reminder to all of us that smiling holds power—a single smile can go a long way, from cheering ourselves up to making someone’s day!

Here’s how Airliftz has proven that we’re stronger when we smile!

The journey to success has never been smooth sailing. Having been born differently, Airliftz experienced discrimination and was battling with a lot of challenges.

Music became his outlet to share his thoughts and express his emotions. Despite the ongoing hardships, Airliftz continued to embrace optimism as he persisted to strive towards his dreams, smiling strong in the face of adversity!

Airliftz is living proof that smiling while facing hardships allows us to cope with setbacks effectively by focusing on the more positive aspect of things. While challenges and setbacks are often inevitable, they should not stop us from dreaming big!

We may be going through different challenges in life, but we have one thing in common: the inner strength to smile through adversities! The moment we unlock this inner strength, we’ll be able to make a positive impact on ourselves and the people around us—this is the power of a smile.
