Traveling, as you can imagine, is not a great idea given the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak that has since been weighing heavy on everyone’s minds. But it sure hasn’t stopped some people from jet-setting across the globe, especially for those who are rich and famous, or just plain rich.

According to South China Morning Post, a 27-year-old woman, who is one of the daughters of Vietnam’s wealthiest steel magnates, tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus after attending fashion shows in both Milan as well as Paris. Her sister, who was accompanying her at the time, also tested positive for the virus.

It is understood that she attended a Gucci show in Milan, as well as a Saint Laurent show in Paris. It is worth noting that Milan is located in the Lombardy region of Italy, which has been hit by staggeringly high numbers of Covid-19 coronavirus infections.

This is also in light of the fact that Saint Laurent usually caps its fashion show attendance to about 1,000 people.

The main concern here is the fact that she only found out about her infection after having been to these often crowded fashion shows. Bear in mind that during most fashion shows, the audience present can range from the hundreds to the thousands, putting them at severe risk of being infected along with Ms Nguyen.

So let this be a reminder to everyone that if you are traveling, be sure to get yourself tested for the Covid-19 coronavirus before you do! If you exhibit symptoms of the infection, seek medical help immediately, or self-quarantine!
