After you’ve finally completed your last ever exam, the feeling can often be an overwhelming sense of relief and happiness as you figure out what you plan to do during the long break.

However, some students see it as an opportunity to destroy school property and their textbooks as a show of ‘revenge’ for all the years they’ve endured in school.

Recently, a video of a bunch of schoolboys destroying their textbooks by ripping out the pages went viral.

Book smart but still stupid

Although it is unknown when the video was shared and at which school, it has since gone viral on Twitter after a netizen had posted it. The majority of the comments on the video criticised the actions of the schoolboys.

“Bro those books could’ve been donated. There are people who struggle to buy even 1 book. You’re making it hard for the students to get their books.”

“If it’s just exercise books I understand, but it’s textbooks. You could’ve passed it down to your juniors or sell them, they still need it,” wrote a user.

Another user commented, “Kids are so stupid nowadays. I used to sell my books to my juniors. At least I’d get some money from selling books.

Meanwhile, others shared how they still have all of their textbooks from back when they were still studying.

“After SPM, STPM and degree, I still put everything in a box.”

“Meanwhile, me 8 years later still keeping them in my book shelf,” wrote another user.
