While dolphin sightings may sound pretty far-fetched and hard to imagine for us Malaysians in our own local waters, you might be surprised to know that you don’t need to travel far to catch a glimpse of some of the friendliest sea-faring mammals out in the wild.
In a video recently uploaded by a Facebook user to social media, over 10 dolphins could be seen swimming together out in the wild near the iconic Penang Bridge just over the weekend!
The stunning incident was all captured on camera, which showed the dolphins playing around a fishing vessel with much curiosity, before swimming out towards other parts of the ocean together.
But apparently, dolphin sightings like these around Penang waters aren’t as uncommon as we’d think! In fact, not too long ago there was a sighting around Batu Ferringhi where over 100 dolphins were seen swimming together!
In any case, we hope that these beautiful creatures will be able to swim undisturbed in the surrounding oceans and lead undisturbed lives!
