TikTok has always been a platform where people share their stories and happenings. Recently, a Malaysian by the name of Syahrul Asyraf has shared his story of being trapped in the bank while he was withdrawing money.

In his video that has gotten more than 600,000 views, he says that he was in the middle of withdrawing money from an ATM and the shutters started coming down automatically.

He wanted to take his card and leave the place immediately but was unable to do so as the cash had not come out yet.

When he was done, the shutters had closed fully, effectively trapping him inside the bank.

Having no idea what to do, he spent some time in there and had to call the bank’s hotline to figure out how to get out.

Luckily, they instructed him to press the exit button on the side to automatically pull up the shutters to leave the place.

Syahrul told WORLD OF BUZZ that he spent about an hour in there and it was very cold, so he was on the verge of peeing himself. Thankfully, he was able to make it out of there with no spillage.

Netizens in the comments were very amused by this and felt that he should have just slept inside the bank.
