Taking place at the Chow Kit area, right in front of IMR and UKM KL, this child almost became another statistic as he ran across the road unattended by his parents.

Luckily, nothing happened. But this did not stop netizens slamming the child’s parents for neglect.

Here is a video of the incident. Viewer discretion is advised.

In the caption, this netizen writes:Ā “Children are not chicks where you can let them play wherever they please.”

“God gave us brains to think.”

Garnering more than 1.6m views, the woman in the video can be heard scolding the parent:Ā “How can you let the child cross on his own?”

Hilariously, there were two children seen in the video. The other, was made to face the wrath of his parents in a corresponding video to the incident.

Back to the first incident, netizens commenting on the tweet were not so kind with their comments.

“Normally, it is down to parental neglect. Other than attending marriage courses, couples should also attend child safety courses too.”

“It is obvious that some parents do not pay attention to their children.”
