Come any festive season, we Malaysians have to bear the loud noises of fireworks as soon as it gets dark out.

At times, it can be nice to get in the holiday mood and enjoy views of colourful sparks against the night sky. Plus, if you haven’t heard already, buying and selling fireworks is legal now!

The public has had mixed reactions towards the government’s controversial decision for legalisation and rightfully so, as cases of unsupervised kids misusing firecrackers and the like, have been aplenty.

This time, we stumble upon yet another story of a person playing with fireworks dangerously.

In a 19-second TikTok video posted by @abdulsbxl2u, an unidentified person can be seen shooting fireworks continuously out from their bedroom window, located on a high floor of their apartment building.

According to the video, the apartment is known as The Arc and is located in Cyberjaya.

It is believed that the person was shooting the fireworks from the 20th floor of the building.

TikTok user @abdulsbxl2u said that the firework was too loud and understandably so as there were apartment units all around. Moreover, the culprit has lit 10 of the fireworks already, sometimes even at 2am.

On a more concerning note, the uploader urges authorities to take action before someone is harmed by the dangerous act as falling sparks could hit people walking below.
