WATCH: Boss Caught Beating Up Foreign Worker After He Called in Sick

In a viral video on social media, an incident that occurred in Pulau Ketam, Klang took centre stage when a video of a man, believed to be a boss, beating his worker repeatedly.

In the 54-second video, the worker, who called in sick, came to the jetty to meet his boss.

Rising from his seat, the boss, began punching him multiple times causing the worker to fall but did not retaliate throughout the beatdown.

Netizens were unimpressed.

“This is not a question of race. The incident involves a boss beating up his employer.”

Another said, “The blame should not just be placed on the boss alone, but also the one recording the incident and did nothing to stop it.”

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the man has been arrested by the police.

According to Klang Selatan police chief Assistant Commissioner Cha Hoong Fong, the victim, a foreign worker employed by the suspect, was assaulted after being absent from work for two days.

“Acting on information, on Jan 17, at approximately 5 pm in Pulau Ketam, Klang, a team of police from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Klang Selatan police headquarters arrested a 41-year-old local man.”

“The suspect has no prior criminal record,” Cha said in a statement.

He said currently police are seeking the victim to obtain further information about the incident.
