The global badminton community has widely welcomed Misbun Sidek, and it is no wonder that many international stars or up-and-coming players have made their way to Malaysia to train under him.

To give you a sneak peek into what goes on in one of his trainings, here is a video of how these Thai badminton prospects were made to start training as early as 4:30 am!

In the video, these players undergo conditioning training, shadow practices and drills well into the evening.

Taking place at the Nusa Mahsuri badminton club, Misbun Sidek’s training is more than just physical, the badminton legend also imparts elements of wisdom.

“My idea is to help you achieve the next level. I will give you what you need. I just want your time and your energy.”

This is the man responsible for unearthing Lee Chong Wei, so it is almost certain that the players will value all the knowledge this badminton legend has to give.
